EduAction Miami 2018 International Congress

 

 

  • Candidates for the Recognition of Educational Excellence in Ibero-America 2018, in the mentions of Organization and Educator, must be an institution or person located in Spain, Portugal or Latin American countries. Organizations and Hispanic residents in the United States, which are considered to have made a relevant contribution to education, may also be included.
  • The participation may be individual or organizational; in the second case, a representative must be appointed to present the proposal.
  • Candidates (organizations or persons) must present a summary of their educational contributions.
  • Contestants may participate in one or more of the following areas: research, innovation, curricular design, management, technology, academic activities, evaluation, and administration.
  • Nominations.

 

    1. Organizational nominations. Organizations must submit a document including the following aspects:
      1. Organization´s name
      2. Complete address.
      3. Email, phone, website
      4. Name of the person responsible for the application
      5. Brief history of the organization
      6. Description of the achievements reached in relation to one of the thematic axes of the event.
      7. Evidence of achievements: awards, acknowledgments, agreements, web pages, articles or other documentation showing the merits of the proposal.
    2. Individual nominations. Individual nominations must be accompanied by:
      1. Letter issued and signed by the applicant, where the originality of the proposal is clarified.
      2. Copy of curriculum vitae in extenso of the postulate, with updated contact information
      3. Copy of valid official identification
      4. Summary, which includes:
        • Full name
        • Address
        • Name and email of the person responsible for the application if it is different from the candidate
        • Candidate email
        • Candidate phone
        • Description of the achievements made by the candidate, in relation to the thematic axes of the event
          • Evidence for the proposal: awards, recognitions, agreements, web pages, articles or other documentation showing the merits of the proposal.

 

  • Documentation must be emailed to:

  • All participants will accept the eventual or permanent publication and / or reproduction of the proposals with full recognition of their authorship in the media and spaces for this purpose, whether print, electronic or digital, for promotional purposes and knowledge exchange
  • The Jury is composed by renowned personalities with outstanding careers
  • The deadline for the receipt of applications is May 20, 2018, before 12:00 midnight, EST.
  • Those candidates who are nominated to participate as finalists, will receive the invitation to the Recognition Ceremony, in which the winners will be announced
  • In both mentions, the recognition will consist of:
  • Award plate and diploma
  • News about recognition in high impact media
  • The official recognition ceremony will take place at a public ceremony, within the framework of the opening of the EduAction Miami 2018 International Congress, on July 2, 2018.
